Come see what we've been up to.

Over the last 30 years the HWCC has rescued and rehabilitated thousands of animals throughout Humboldt County.  Our education team has put on outreach presentations to over 100 local schools and groups in just the last year.  There is nothing like seeing these magnificent birds up close and personal.

In the last year we have partnered with Bird Ally X (BAX), a group of professional rehabilitators.  Since the pelican emergency last year we have been able to improve our infrastructure and volunteer base thanks to the help of BAX.

Come join us September 9, 2012 from 2-5pm at the Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center for:

-Education team presentations
     Live birds of prey on display
     Peregrine falcon feeding

-Wildlife stories

-Wildlife release videos

-Kids' activities

-Learn about the HWCC

-Madaket Cruises $15 (see below for ticket information)
     Bay cruise with a HWCC rehabilitator and a local naturalist
     Windshield Owl Pale Ale available on board

-Hors D'oeuvres by Brett Shuler Catering

Suggested donation $5 individual, $10 Family at the door.
